1960s Vinyl: Valley Of The (Singing) Dolls

Three recent flea market finds from the 1960s:
Two LPs accredited to the Heidi Doll and one to the Tammy Doll.
Interesting pieces of early character marketing and cross-promotion.
I bet a lot of little girls (and a few conflicted boys) just ate this up.

3 In 1 Action Kit For Him (1961)

Hours of fun in the form of puzzles, crafts, language arts and junior sleuth detective work.
What red-blooded American boy of the early 1960s could resist this densely-packed box of goodies?

Swinging High & Other Monkey Shines

Four frames from a 1960s kids' coloring set...
A kitschy score from the Saylorsburg outdoor flea market.
The swingin' gal (which somehow reminds me of Richard Prince's "Nurse" paintings) was gifted to a friend.
The other items in this colored pencil collection will be collage fodder.

Game On! > Fascination (1961)

A recent flea market find, which looks fantastic. I cleaned it up, but have yet to test it with batteries.
Should it not work, that center bulb console and those mazes are being worked into a new assemblage.

Emenee Chocolate Factory (1966)

Before there was a Food Network "Unwrapped", this is how kids learned about chocolate molds.
Today, it would be probably just be an iPhone app called "Angry Chocolate Factory Zombie Missiles".

Assemblage Material: 1960s Table Top Bowling

Fun early 1960s graphics!  Too bad the game inside was completely destroyed.
This was given to me by a very nice flea market vendor after he learned that I was an assemblage artist.
When he saw that I could actually use his discards, he was (as some vendors are) glad to share freely.
