Yet another fun find from Zern's Flea Market. I actually ended up buying three of these from a vendor in one of the chaotic out-building stalls named Smitty. His eclectic barrage of items range from glassware to old HAM radios to vintage records... An eighty-something retired Fuller Brush Man with many stories to tell and a LOT of personality in him.

Racks, Stacks, Ropes & Razors
Everytime I take a ride out here, I see the same vendors and the same booths, but the experience (on the whole) is always different. It's a world unto itself that's worth a visit every five to eight weeks.

Three Flea Markets, A Dairy & A Road Sign
A day & evening trip with my friends Steve and Kelly (who took the iPhone photo of me in the record booth). Amazing conversation, many laughs & cultural archaeology. Saylorsburg, Wind Gap, Zern's of Gilbertsville & Longacre Dairy of Barto, Pennsylvania. 31 July 2010.

Roadsides, Follies & Rides

Scenes from two different travels with my friend Steve: One to the Salvation Army Store in Greenbrook, NJ and another along Route 100 South to Route 73 East through Pennsylvania. It's never about the "stuff". It's all about the sights and the company.
